TANS2, Taxpayers for Aircraft Noise Solutions & Safety, is here to keep you informed about what YOU can do to assist in solving the excessive Jet Traffic that is an objective "taking" of our community's right to the quiet enjoyment of our property. The RNAV GPS X approach along Route 17 was approved by the FAA July 1st, 2021, however, it is not being utilized and would offer residents relief. Please sign our petition to have the FAA and air traffic controllers prioritize the Route 17 alternate route as the preferred route for arrivals onto Runway 19.

TANS² has requested 3 changes to the operation of planes at Teterboro Airport:

1. Make the RNAV GPS X approach (Route 17 approach) a preferred route for arrivals onto Runway 19.
2. Increase the altitude of planes traveling over the Pascack Valley from 2000 feet to 3000 feet.
3. Add additional Way Points so the traffic is dispersed rather than concentrated over our communities.

We are only in the first inning after a long lead-up to get here. It’s taken a lot of effort to reach this point where we finally have a framework for addressing these issues.
