Library Information

The Borough of Woodcliff Lake offers a reimbursement program to assist residents with the cost of obtaining a public library membership.

The Borough will reimburse:

Up to $200 for Woodcliff Lake residents 62 years of age or older
Up to $175 for all other Woodcliff Lake residents

Residents are responsible only for paying the difference between the library's membership fee and the applicable Borough reimbursement amount.

Park Ridge Library

Ridgewood Public Library

Westwood Public Library

Upper Saddle River Library

Residents should bring proof of Woodcliff Lake residency when registering. The resident pays only the amount shown in the table below at the time of registration.

Please note: Library membership fees are established by each individual library and are subject to change without notice. Residents are encouraged to verify current membership fees directly with the library prior to applying.

Examples of reimbursement

Scenario 1: Join Montvale library, you pay out of pocket $450.00, you complete the form bring to BH with the receipt and the Borough will reimburse you $175 or $200 (if you are a senior).

Scenario 2: If the Hillsdale library membership costs $275, a Woodcliff Lake resident would pay $100, while a qualifying senior (62+) would pay $75.
