NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE ADOPTION OF THEBOROUGH MASTER PLAN’S
HOUSING ELEMENT AND FAIR SHARE PLAN


PLEASE TAKE NOTICE in accordance with N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq. and the Municipal Land Use Law, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq. and, more particularly, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-13, that on June 24, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at The Tice Senior Center, 411 Chestnut Ridge Road, Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, 07677, the Governing Body of the Borough of Woodcliff Lake (the “Council”) and Land Use Board of the Borough of Woodcliff Lake (the “Board”) will conduct a Joint Special Meeting and hold a public hearing to consider the adoption of the Borough Master Plan’s Housing Element and Fair Share Plan, prepared by DMR Architects, pursuant to Section 28 of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law. At the joint public hearing, the Council and the Board will receive a presentation from its planning expert as to the proposed Housing Element and Fair Share Plan. The public is invited to comment on the proposed Housing Element and Fair Share Plan by appearing in person at the hearing and offering public comment.

Following the public hearing the Board may take action by amending and/or adopting the proposed Housing Element and Fair Share Plan as part of the Borough Master Plan. The Mayor and Council may also take action endorsing the spending plan for the Housing and Fair Share Plan. An electronic copy of the proposed Housing Element and Fair Share Plan will be posted on the Borough’s website, at https://wclnj.com.

Beginning on Friday, June 13, 2025, a copy of the proposed Housing Element and Fair Share Plan of the Borough of Woodcliff Lake will be available for public inspection on the Borough’s website at https://wclnj.com and during regular business hours, Monday and Thursday, 8AM to 4PM, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8AM to 6PM and Fridays 8AM to 1PM, except holidays, in the Borough Clerk’s Office at Borough Hall, 188 Pascack Road, Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, 07677.

At the Hearing, opportunity will be given to all interested parties to be heard after which time the Land Use Board and the Mayor and Council may take action to adopt the HEFSP and Spending Plan pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-28 and N.J.S.A. 52:27D-310. The Land Use Board reserves the right to make amendments to the HEFSP at the public hearing prior to adoption and without further notice.
