At the Mayor and Council meeting held last evening, Mayor Carlos Rendo and the Borough Council honored the brave members of the Woodcliff Lake Fire Department for their exceptional response to the severe bus crash on Monday, March 10, 2025.

A formal proclamation was presented, which recognized the Woodcliff Lake Fire Department for their unwavering commitment to protecting and serving the community. On the night of the crash, the department was the first emergency response team to arrive at the scene, demonstrating extraordinary professionalism and quick thinking.
