Swimming Pool Safety

Every year Emergency Personnel respond to pool drownings. This happens to people of all ages -for example, young children to elderly people with Alzheimer's disease.

At the August 21st Council meeting, this important issue was discussed and approved by 100% of the Council. I brought up the fact that every home with a pool should be responsible and ensure safety by having a pool alarm. A pool alarm can be purchased for anywhere from $100 to $1,500 and easily be found on Google.

This notice is to hopefully help to avoid any additional tragedies in our town.
